nowadays I ’ megabyte sharing a democratic korean appetizer called “ bibim mandu ” ( 비빔만두 ) aka korean potsticker salad .
What is Bibim Mandu
The calculate translation of bibim mandu is “ desegregate dumplings ” or “ mix potstickers ”. ( much like the celebrated korean bibimbap is “ shuffle rice ” )
basically, the pan fried potstickers are blend with salad and specially made mandu bibim sauce .
This korean potsticker salad is one of my favorite korean dishes because it has everything I like .
The texture is crunchy ( from the salad and pan fried potstickers ) and they are coated with super addictive sweet, lemony and hot sauce. Who would say no to that ? !
I ’ thousand reasonably sealed that it will blow your judgment away excessively ! ????
What ’ s more, it is a perfective appetizer when you ’ ra looking for a quick and easy but feel extra food. So I think it will be well received as a potluck party food .
The lone problem there would be, you wouldn ’ deoxythymidine monophosphate want to partake the food with others. Lol .

Ingredients for Bibim Mandu, Serves 3 to 4 as an appetizer
Main
- 14 pieces (180g, 5 ounces) of Korean frozen dumplings (Mandu, 만두), thawed
- 4 lettuce leaves (40g, 1.4 ounces) – thinly sliced
- 1/2 leaves (35g, 1.2 ounces) of small cabbage – thinly sliced
- 1/2 (65g, 2.3 ounces) large cucumber – peeled, seed removed, julienned
- 1/2 (25g, 0.9 ounces) small carrot – peeled, julienned
- Some cooking oil
Sweet and Spicy Dressing
- 1 Tbsp Korean chilli paste (gochujang)
- 2 Tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1 Tbsp raw sugar
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds
* 1 Tbsp = 15 milliliter

How to Make Bibim Mandu (Korean Potsticker Salad)
1. Clean/wash all the vegetables and prepare them as directed in the above ingredients section. then set apart .
2. Prepare the dress by mixing the list ingredients in a bowling ball .
3. Heat the pan, add some oil and spread it around the pan. Place the dumplings on the pan and cook them until they are cooked through, about 5 mins. Set away .
4. Combine the vegetables, dumplings and the dress in a large mix bowl then mix well. Serve. ( Mixing should be done good before you are ready to eat. Otherwise, your vegetables and dumplings won ’ thyroxine be as crunchy. )
