This New York Style Shrimp Recipe came from Bertolli and they asked me to recreate it in my own home and share what we thought. My thoughts ? Delicious and filling ! Wow, what a fantastic combination with polenta and shrimp. We don ’ triiodothyronine feed seafood much about here so when I make it up, I want it to be extra.

New York Style Shrimp Recipe

- 1 tube prepared polenta, cut into 8 slices
- 4 tablespoons Bertolli Olive Oil, divided
- 1 1/2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 large cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 jar Bertolli Riserva Marinara Sauce, heated
- extra basil (optional)
directions
- Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium heat in large nonstick skillet.
- Add polenta slices and cook 8 minutes turning once, until slightly crisp. Remove and keep warm
- Toss shrimp with garlic and salt in large bowl. Sprinkle with flour then toss until evenly coated
- In the same skillet, heat 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil over medium heat
- Add half of the shrimp and cook 6 minutes or until golden, turning once
- Remaining with remaining oil and shrimp
- Spoon 2 cups of hot Bertolli Riserva Marinara Sauce onto serving platter
- Arrange polenta over sauce then top with shrimp
- Drizzle remaining sauce over shrimp and garnish with fresh basil if desired

Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon olive vegetable oil over medium heat in large nonstick frying pan .
- Add polenta slices and cook 8 minutes turning once, until slightly crisp. Remove and keep warm
- Toss shrimp with garlic and salt in big bowl. Sprinkle with flour then toss until evenly coated
- In the same frying pan, heating system 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil over medium heat
- Add half of the shrimp and cook 6 minutes or until golden, turning once
- Remaining with remaining petroleum and runt
- spoon 2 cups of hot Bertolli Riserva Marinara Sauce onto serving phonograph record
- Arrange polenta over sauce then top with prawn
- Drizzle remaining sauce over runt and garnish with bracing basil if desired
