This was amazing ! The charwoman at the front was by far the best separate ( brassy, friendly, engaging ), but the food washington bountiful, flavorful, and a capital value and the atmosphere is decidedly old W 7th Street ! Good luck cookies besides ! We were here on Christmas Eve so they had a short ton of phone calls/to-go orders. placid got our food and beverages fast .

A great St. Paul find along Seventh Street. Golden Chow Mein is old school Chinese restaurant with made to club food that is plainly delectable and flavorful. While the boom room is sparse the price is right. I will decidedly be back !

My chinese dame is the best food I have had. Went there years ago because I lived in the neighborhood and inactive go back. right eat in is catchy because she has so much take out. And yes specially during mealtime expect you order to take longer, but it is worth the wait. I recommend lo mein, egg foo young, testis rolls and chicken wings. sol thoroughly

We have grabbed take out at this little position for years. We about always order massachusetts pao bean curd and shrimp in lobster sauce. The food is delightful ! We have besides enjoyed their sesame chicken. Yum ! ! I have never had a problem finding parking on the street. The position itself is drab and not inspire, but the food we have had has been systematically clear notch .

adept chinese food in a quaint ancient construction. I had not had zhou mein since that atrocious Chung King canned stuff. Ok, real clean cooked chow mein silent is not that great, but we got combination plates and testis rolls so we had plenty to eat. Egg rolls, dulcet and sour pork barrel, egg foo yong, and stimulate fried rice all very beneficial. Hard to pay the check at the register for all the carry out orders taking priority. silent a great experience .

I ‘ve been eating their great food since I lived in the neighborhood and was a young ( single ) man in my 20 ‘s back in the 1980s. I turned my future wife on to their food, and now married with an adult daughter, I moved 25 miles away in the mid 90 ‘s and hush drive across town to get their Take Out food-to-go. Always pleasant military service and identical appreciative that I am silent a patriotic customer after 35 years ! ! ! We ca n’t recommend Golden Chow Mein enough !

I ‘ve lived in the vicinity for over a decade and this is the first time I ‘ve stopped in. I wish it would have “ found ” the topographic point preferably. Front goal operate by a no-nonsense so far incredibly welcoming and personable dame. Everyone in our party loved their meal. The give rolls and fried noodles were my favorite. The owner is a delicious cook .

Was n’t expecting much after seeing the photograph hera but was pleasantly surprised. sure this is n’t very authentic, but it ‘s bum and tasty and our waiter was very friendly which very helped sell the experience. My friend had the chow mein, one had the beef and cashew and we shared some testis rolls. The meat tasted clean and the vegetables were perfectly stir fried. My merely issue was the flavors were a small balmy, but at least they were n’t overdone and salty like some cheap places ! Would come again !

I am giving the food 5 stars, not the old build up. There are tables, but a set of their business is take out. In my opinion, ***they have the best chicken wings in the Twin Cities. *** If they always had a food rack at the MN State Fair, they could retire early off their chicken wings. The sauce in their capsicum steak with the beef, green peppers, and onions is delightful. I always rate hot tea with my lunch. It is not watered down like a batch of places .

1st time here the food was great ! We ordered Cantonese shrimp, chop suey, egg rolls, and wimp wings. 10s all around the board. But besides the food the lady that works here is a rioting ! Come barely to see her ! No lie thank me later .

amazing american Chinese food ! The prices are humble, ingredients fresh, and portions quite big. Cream cheese wontons were crisp and not excessively stuffed, sweetly and sour runt was delicious, and the electrocute rice was jam packed with pork barrel, testis, and fleeceable onion. Glad to have a solid lead out option close to home .

I ‘ve been eating hera since I was a kyd. As a adult I drive 40 minutes round trip to pick it up. I prefer the food here over the taiwanese food restaurants nearby my house. When you divide the monetary value over the number of meals it ‘s not much more expensive than debauched food. Everytime I pick up my order it ‘s quick on prison term, which seems to always be 15 minutes. Full disclosure I constantly get the same arrange. I can alone honestly say I like the sesame chicken, chicken fried rice, eggrolls, and wontons .
