Souderton sweetens Sundays with ‘Concert Sundaes, Music & Ice Cream in the Park’

Hot summer nights are always well with ice cream, so grab some friends and have a Sundae every Sunday in Souderton Park. The batting order for this season ’ sulfur series is barely outstanding. The series has already completed two shows, the June 4 season-opening Community Day and June 1 lth ’ sulfur Bel Canto Children ’ sulfur Chorus and “ Alice in Wonderland ” concert for children .
This Sunday, June 18, is certain to reflect the season ’ s excitation with a great american jazz-band read featuring Hot House, Philadelphia Magazine ’ mho 1995 “ Best of Philly ” Dixie/Swing Band. Chosen by the Kennedy Center as a United States Information Agency Jazz Ambassador in 1999, this trio besides works as Artists in Residence with the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts .

Jim Murphy and the Pine Barons, winners of the Traditional Music Association ’ second 1996 “ Album ofthe Year ” prize, bring their bluegrass and “ NewBilly Music ” tunes on the 16th .
authoritative music stars Frank Munafo, Frank Tenaglia and James R. Longacre, our Three Tenors, will bring their remarkable talents on the 23rd. The 19-member Glenn Miller Orchestra takes you back in time to the Big Band era on July 30 .
