- 4 tbsp cornstarch
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- Pinch of black pepper
- ¼ cup oil
- Optional: green onions, finely chopped
Gochujang sauce for shrimp :
- 1 tbsp gochujang paste
- 1 tbsp honey
- ½ tbsp sesame oil
- 0.5 tbsp soy sauce
- ½ tbsp garlic
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- ½ cup water
How to make Korean gochujang shrimp
In a blend bowl, add your shrimp, cornstarch, garlic powder, black pepper and gently mix. Mix until each shrimp is well coated in the cornstarch seasoning .
In another bowling ball, whisk together your Gochujang Sauce ingredients as listed above until well combined .
then in a non-stick fry pan set over medium high heat, fry your prawn until they are crisp and gold on both sides, approximately 10 minutes .
Lower your heat to low flare. then pour your sauce over top and gently combine with the shrimp. trim with k onions ( optional ) .
