Ingredients
- 2 cups of dried green peas
- 4 cups

- 1 tbsp. of olive anoint
- 2 garlic cloves
- 4 sprigs of chives
- 1 scallions
- 1 branchlet parsley
- 1 branchlet thyme
- 2 whole cloves
- Salt to taste
- fresh grind capsicum to taste
- 1/2 cup white onion or shallots – optional
- 1 tbsp. of butter – optional
- 2 ¼ cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black capsicum ground
Instructions
- In a bombastic stockpot, fudge dried peas until fully cooked .
- interim, in a bowl, add flour, water, salt, black pepper, sweet paprika. Mix all ingredients until there are no lumps. ( best to mix with your hands ). With a spoon or with your hands form 2.5 curium ( 1 ” ) or 5 centimeter ( 2 ” ) dumplings. Set away .
- Let cool and blend in a blender until it forms a puree like texture. Strain puree and set away. Form a paste with garlic, chives, green onion, parsley and thyme by using either a mortar and stamp or a food processor with a fiddling sting of petroleum. Heat petroleum and add spices glue. Cook for half a minute while turning and do not burn. Add onion or shallots if using. Stir assortment to combine and add peas puree. Add cloves, salt, boodle and dumplings and cook uncovered for about 30 minutes on low heat until the puree has thickens. Add butter at the end before serving with white rice if preferred but not necessary because of the dumplings .
