With larger farms, sometimes there are some misconceptions about the environmental impingement, but their daughter Kelsey was explaining some of the practices the grow put in locate to be environmentally friendly. “ This year we did a lot of cover cropping…and then this spring we were able to no-till corn into them, ” Kelsey said. “ That saves on dirty corrosion, fuel, labor, and it ’ randomness better for waterways. ” Amy mentioned the importance of events such as Sundae on the Farm, “ I think it ’ south important to educate the public about how we care for our cows. Ya know, they think we ’ rhenium just running a factory hera, but it ’ s not. We have our cows very comfortable out there. ” Kelsey added, “ A lot of people don ’ deoxythymidine monophosphate know where their food comes from, so if they want to learn about that, this is a good opportunity to see how it ’ second made. ”

Kayla explained that on Sunday, they ’ ll be offering beach wagon rides through the whole farm to see the operation, the machinery, the feed piles, and of course, the cows. Afterward, they ’ ll have food, ice-cream sundae, a band, and activities for the kids.
