What is Korean Ground Beef and Rice Bowls

In its simplest form, I would like to introduce my korean grind beef stadium as a short cut bulgogi bowl. Bulgogi is korean marinade BBQ gripe, celebrated for its tender kernel with balance gratifying and savory relish .
The main difference between bulgogi and today ’ mho serve would be that this beef bowl uses less expensive kernel than bulgogi – reason beef vanadium rib eye. besides the gripe bowl doesn ’ metric ton require the marination process as reason beef is already tender and it absorbs flavors actual fast .
Because of its nature, ground gripe won ’ deoxythymidine monophosphate be desirable for grilling over the BBQ, but it ’ mho absolutely suitable for cooking in a frying pan or a wok .

How to Enjoy

One of the highlights this gripe and rice bowl put up is that you can serve it with endless arrays of side dishes that are either cooked or bare-assed .
My front-runner combinations are sliced cucumbers and kimchi as I always have them in my electric refrigerator. If I feel diligent, I sometimes top up with a cheery side up egg .
besides, the smasher tastes well without requiring extra sauce as there is enough juice from the meat .
But if you want to add some extra delectable liquid with some kick, you can serve with my celebrated bibimbap sauce. They go wonderfully in concert ! And, this will make you one of the easiest bibimbap meals around !

How To Make Korean Ground Beef and Rice Bowl

1. Combine the ground beef sauce in a medium size stadium and whisk well. Set digression. If using bibimbap sauce, combine all the sauce in a separate bowl and set aside .
2. In a well heat frying pan, cook the land gripe over medium high heating system until the meat largely turns brown ( about 3- 4 mins ). Stir frequently while breaking clumps of the kernel .

3. Pour the ground beef sauce over the kernel and simmer for 2-3 mins, while stirring occasionally. Add the sesame seeds and green onions. Stir around promptly. Remove from the heat .

4. Serve the cook gripe over a bed of cook rice. ( Optional ) Top up with your choice of sides and drizzle over the bibimbap sauce .

Ingredients

GROUND BEEF SAUCE

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce, regular

  • 2 Tbsp embrown carbohydrate

  • 1.5 Tbsp rice wine

  • 1/2 Tbsp minced garlic

  • 1 tsp minced pep

  • A few sprinkles footing black pepper

  • 1/2 Tbsp toasted sesame oil

GROUND BEEF BOWL

  • Some cook vegetable oil , I used rice bran oil

  • 500 gravitational constant beef mince ( 1.1 pound )

  • 1/2 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds, garnishee

  • 2 stalk green onions , thinly sliced

  • 2 cups cooked rice of your option ( e.g. sushi rice, basmati rice, jasmine rice, brown rice, empurpled rice, and cauliflower rice etc. )

SIDE DISH IDEAS (OPTIONAL)

  • avocado , thinly sliced

  • cucumber , thinly sliced

  • pink radish , thinly sliced

  • broccoli , steamed or pan fried

  • asparagus

    , pan fried

  • bell peppers , pan fried

  • egg , cheery side up

  • kimchi, chopped

  • roasted seasoned seaweed, crushed or shredded

BIBIMBAP SAUCE (OPTIONAL)

  • 2 Tbsp gochujang ( korean chili paste )

  • 1 Tbsp toasted sesame anoint

  • 1 Tbsp boodle

  • 1 Tbsp water

  • 1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds

  • 1 tsp rice vinegar

  • 1 tsp minced garlic

Instructions

  • Combine the ground beef sauce in a medium size bowl and whisk well. Set aside. If using bibimbap sauce, combine all the sauce in a separate bowl and set aside.

  • In a well heated skillet, cook the ground beef over medium high heat until the meat mostly turns brown (about 3- 4 mins). Stir often while breaking clumps of the meat.

  • Pour the ground beef sauce over the meat and simmer for 2-3 mins, while stirring occasionally. Add the sesame seeds and green onions. Stir around quickly. Remove from the heat.

  • Serve the cooked beef over a bed of cooked rice. (Optional) Top up with your choice of sides and drizzle over the bibimbap sauce.

  1. 1 Tbsp = 15 ml, 1 Cup = 250 ml
