July is National Ice Cream Month and of course we had to celebrate it in a large room ! I in the first place thought I would make parfaits with the kids however, they love adding a short ton of toppings to the top of the ice cream so they are more like ice-cream sundae, right ? Whatever you want to call these we had a blast making them. My ma bought us an ice cream godhead last year so I thought why not try some homemade methamphetamine cream to go along with these delightful toppings.
I normally would have tried to create a singular spirit of internal-combustion engine cream but since I was making this internal-combustion engine cream specifically for my kids I thought I would stick with their favorite relish and go for a long ton of fun toppings. And although using an ice cream maker can be a sting of a clock time consumer, I only needed four ingredients so that decidedly helped .
I used a across-the-board assortment of toppings which of course you can change according to your preferences. I found a muffin tin worked best for all ingredients and was a elementary clean up. I thought about using colorful muffin liners which would have worked fine with the dry ingredients but not so well with the fresh fruit .
Dietitian’s Dish
You may be thinking why is a dietician writing about ice cream ? ! Well, that ’ s precisely why I am discussing methamphetamine cream. I personally LOVE ice skim and my kids do excessively. I enjoy showing my readers how I live in moderation, which allows room for treats like ice cream. This means that I do not serve ice cream day by day, but do so on random occasions and of path for special days like birthdays. I besides keep part sizes in take care. Check out the cup size I used for these ice-cream sundae. merely so much internal-combustion engine cream and toppings can fit in a smaller size cup or dish. besides, I added a variety of toppings including fresh fruit and nuts so we all had the options to choose healthier toppings. And guess what…a few of my kids chose the fresh fruit since it ’ sulfur one of their front-runner foods !
