Ingredients

  • 1-1/4 pound beef short rib kernel or sirloin, adipose tissue trimmed
  • 1/2 onion, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp ginger paste
  • 3 tbsp finely chop pine nuts or walnuts
  • 4 tbsp sweet rice flour (chapssal-garu)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sweet rice wine (mirim)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp finely chop ache nuts or walnuts, for garnish

For the glaze:

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

Instructions 

  • Saute the onion with a little come of petroleum until soft. Set apart to cool .
