Ichiban encounters an aged woman who is having a problem. The woman seems to be having an issue with crossing the street. Umeko reveals that she made a vow to walk on her own two feet until the day that she died and that ‘s why she does n’t want Ichiban ‘s help crossing the street. Ichiban wishes that he could help her, but unfortunately Uemako resigns that she will just go home plate for the day.

On Sakura Lane, Ichiban comes across a blushful businessman who is yelling that something burns him. Ichiban then encounters an aged man who is selling kimchi in the streets. He willingly offers Ichiban a sample of the kimchi and Ichiban is surprised with the hotness flush of the kimchi. The elder man reveals that he makes this kimchi with a pepper tha is known as “ the monster ‘s hook. ” The honest-to-god man reveals that he is thinking about closing up the shop and as a result leaves Ichiban with the Miracle Kimchi to do what he sees most suit. Ichiban encounters a high schooler near Jinnai Station who is overturn that her senpai is going to be leaving. Ichiban decides to hear her story and lend her an ear. Ichiban remembers the businessman who was encouraged by eating the blue kimchi and wonders if this would besides help her. He decides to share the kimchi with her. After the kimchi sends her running off, Ichiban then needs to go and see what happened. As Ichiban goes to the platform, he notices that Kyoko is being talked to with a homo who is questioning why her confront is extremely red. Kyoko ‘s senpai reveals that he is understanding of this site and for this Ichiban decides that it ‘s best for the two to let this play out. back in the station, Ichiban asks Kyoko what happened in the situation. She explained that the two are going to the same college and that her senpai is going to be waiting for her. Ichiban wonders if there are more people who can use this limited kimchi.
Near Hamatika Park, Ichiban encounters a sprinter from a traverse team. once again, Ichiban wonders if this sprinter could be helped by having some heaven-sent Kimchi. After helping the runner realize his form, Ichiban decides that he needs to revisit the honest-to-god woman who was attempting to cross the street and see how he can help her.
once again on Tsurukame Highway, Ichiban finds Umeko calm trying to go ahead and cross the road. After seeing the effects that the kimchi had in helping others, Ichiban offers Umeko some kimchi. With the avail of the kimchi, Umeko last managed to cross the street and relieve her glory days. Ichiban then decides to go and tell the kimchi seller about everything that has happened. When Ichiban arrives to tell the kimchi vendor the good newsworthiness, he sees a large push surrounding the seller. The seller is swarming with customers and this leads to the completion of this substory. Completing this substory lets Umeko apply to Ichiban Holdings .
