Slurpuff ( japanese :
ペロリーム Peroream ) is a Fairy-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VI. It evolves from Swirlix when traded while holding a Whipped Dream .
biology
Slurpuff is a white, bipedal Pokémon. It has reddish-pink eyes with blank pupils and is normally seen with its spit poking out of the corner of its mouth. On top of its drumhead is a mass of downy pinko fur with a crimson cherry-like sphere on top. The placement of the cherry-like structure may be inspired by the idiom “ Cherry on top ”. On either side of its promontory, its pink fur forms a spherical determine similar to ears. Around its neck is a crinkled, red collar and there is a bolshevik spot on the left field side of its chest. It has belittled, pink feet with three toes and stubby arms. Slurpuff has an exceptionally cutting smell of smell that is 100 million times stronger than that of a homo. This allows it to distinguish even the faintest of smells and assist pastry chefs in the cooking. Slurpuff can tell a person ‘s mental and physical discipline by taking in their olfactory property. Its fur contains a fortune of air travel, making it light and soft to the touch.

triviality
- Slurpuff can be seen as a parallel to Aromatisse. Both are Generation VI Fairy-type Pokémon that are version-exclusives of Pokémon X and Y and in Pokemon Sword and Shield, with Slurpuff being exclusive to X and Sword, and Aromatisse to Y and Shield, both have signature Abilities that affect themselves as well as their allies, and both evolve from their base forms when traded holding a certain item.
origin
Slurpuff is based on the meringue, a dessert made from flog egg whites and sugar. It is often topped with flog cream and fruits to create a meringue nest. The red celestial sphere on its head resembles a yield topping such as a strawberry or cerise. Meringue is besides used as a sweetly basal on early respective desserts such as cakes, pies, and pastries. Slurpuff may besides be based on cupcakes or Japanese-style mille-feuille. Cupcakes are sometimes referred to as fagot cakes, which may be an inspiration for its type. Considering its bum tongue, nose, paws, and auriform circular extensions on its capitulum, it may besides be based on a andiron, possibly a Bichon Frise or poodle .
name origin
Slurpuff may be a combination of slurp and puff. It may besides be a play on the give voice surplus. Peroream may be a combination of ペロペロ peropero ( echoic audio for licking ) and cream. Both names may refer to the profiterole ( skim puff ), a pastry dessert filled with whip cream and then topped with ganache, and a sauce .
