Wonton noodles and I go wayyyy rear. It ’ second one of those delightful noodles that has such a fantastic bouncy and chewy texture. When these noodles are coated in that dry won ton attic sauce and paired with wontons and some leafy greens, it ’ s a meal that will hit the spot like no other !
Most asian restaurants will serve won ton noodles swimming in a warm soup but it ’ s not ampere much where you will find dry won ton noodles coated in a garlic sesame soy sauce. In fact, I only learned of this smasher when I visited Malaysia back in 2012 ! I remember my first gear time having it with their version of charwoman siu which is very char and identical delectable ! nowadays you ’ re probably wondering how can dry won ton noodles taste dependable ? My dry won ton attic recipe is very easy to make ! particularly if you ’ ve already made my PORK AND SHRIMP WONTON or my pork barrel CHIVE WONTONS prepared. This recipe is going to be SUPER easy and quick for you to make ! It only takes less than 20 minutes to whip up for two servings !

What is dry Wonton?

They are won ton noodles that are blanched and then tossed in a garlic sesame soy sauce sauce and eaten with wontons and char siu with leafy greens .

What are wonton noodles made out of?

The noodles are made of egg with wheat flour and then are blanched and paired with a pork or chicken based stocked accompanied with wontons or protein of choice with leafy greens .

Is wonton noodle soup healthy?

Yes it decidedly can be with quality chicken or pork barrel stock .

How long do you boil wonton noodles?

I would recommend entirely boiling them for 30-40 seconds until they have loosened. Any longer and they will go inert .

How do you know when wontons are done?

When they float to the top and the kernel is no longer pink inside. normally takes about 5 minutes to boil .

For this recipe

You will need the postdate ingredients :
400 grams wonton noodles
14 homemade or boughten pork barrel shrimp wontons, or a many as desire
2 cups bok choy, sliced
1 stalk green onions, finely chopped
Chinese Chili anoint, optional
Sauce for dry wonton noodles:

1 tbsp abstemious soy sauce
1 tsp garlic minced
3 tbsp water
1 tbsp sesame oil
2.5 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp sugar

How to cook Dry Wonton Noodles

  1. In a medium size pot filled with water, bring it to a boil. Carefully lower your wontons and bok choy in and boil for 5 minutes. Strain wontons and bok choy after the wontons have floated to the top and are no longer pink in the middle.
  2. Meanwhile, in another pot filled with water bring it to a boil. Loosen your wonton egg noodles and lower them into the boiling water. Blanch for 30-40 seconds and quickly strain.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together your noodle sauce ingredients and pour it over you noodles mixing everything together.
  4. Divide your noodles into serving bowls and top off with wontons, green onions and bok choy. Serve hot and enjoy!
